Last updated: May 13, 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of Resume Pilot, including the website, applications, and related services.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

Resume Pilot provides tools related to resume drafting, resume optimization, resume scoring, cover letter generation, interview simulation, career planning, document export, and related workflows.

We may update, improve, suspend, or remove features at any time.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account unless caused by our breach of security obligations.

You may not share access in a way that violates these terms or applicable law.

4. User content

You retain ownership of the content you submit to the service, including resume data, uploaded documents, job descriptions, generated drafts that are specific to your use, and related materials.

You grant us a limited license to host, store, reproduce, process, adapt, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, maintain, improve, and secure the service.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights needed to upload or submit content.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the service in violation of law or third-party rights;
  • submit malicious code, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with the service;
  • use automated means to scrape, overload, or disrupt the product beyond permitted use;
  • upload content that you do not have the right to use;
  • use the service to create fraudulent, deceptive, infringing, or abusive material;
  • misrepresent AI-generated output as verified professional, legal, financial, or employment advice.

6. AI outputs and professional judgment

The service may generate text, suggestions, scores, and other outputs using automated systems and AI models. These outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your situation.

You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and validating any output before relying on it, sharing it, or using it in job applications or professional settings.

7. Payments, subscriptions, and credits

Some features require a paid subscription, one-time purchase, or credits. Pricing, plan limits, trial terms, billing intervals, and included credits may change over time.

If you purchase a subscription or credits:

  • you authorize the applicable payment provider to charge the selected payment method;
  • recurring plans renew until canceled in accordance with the billing terms presented at checkout;
  • access to paid features may change if a subscription expires, is canceled, or payment fails;
  • credits may be consumed when you use eligible AI or export features as described in the product.

Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable once charged or consumed.

8. Availability and changes

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The service may be unavailable for maintenance, updates, third-party outages, or reasons outside our control.

We may modify the product, limits, pricing, supported locales, design, integrations, and feature set at any time.

9. Third-party services

The service relies on third-party providers for infrastructure, authentication, analytics, storage, payments, email delivery, and AI processing. Your use of certain parts of the service may also involve the terms and policies of those providers.

We are not responsible for third-party services except as required by law.

10. Termination and suspension

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk for the service or other users, fail to pay required fees, or where necessary for legal or security reasons.

You may stop using the service at any time.

11. Disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Resume Pilot and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunities arising from or related to the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Resume Pilot and its operators from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your content, your misuse of the service, or your violation of these terms or applicable law.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law applicable to the operator of the service, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after updated terms take effect means you accept the revised terms.

16. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent through the contact options provided in the service. Where configured, service emails may be sent from contact@planpai.com.
